Gypsy Dance of Thar Desert of India

It is my pleasure to introduce my self & my organization Desert Arts.
I am Rajasthan, India based Folk researcher, I have done my diploma in theatre from National School Of Drama, New Delhi, India.(a renowned drama school in Asia)
After my drama school course I have done fellowships for govt.of India, ministary of culture & NSD on folk arts of Rajasthan, India.
I have also conceptualized and directed more then 150 episodes of a musical travelogue based on Folk arts of Indian desert, for a Indian TV channel.
I have traveled extensively to remotest corners of rural Rajasthan to discover rich folk artists like Gypsy dancers, Langa - mangniyar musicians & Acrobats.

I have a group of 12 Gypsy performers, who perform Gypsy dance & Acrobats at international fairs & festivals.

Thar desert of India, is one of famous desert of world civilization, since last many centuries this desert is not only famous for its historical background but also for its culture.
The Gypsies of Rajasthan straight from the Thar Desert of India, the gypsy people are as known as the snake charmer caste, the women are skilled dancers and are accompanied by gypsy Langa musicians & Acrobats (tight rope walker)
